About Us
Dr. Janice Luk, Optometrist
Dr. Janice Luk is a Canadian optometrist who graduated with honours from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry.
Born and raised in Toronto, she currently practices in Vancouver, British Columbia, with special interest in dry eye disease, specifically around beauty trends and cosmetics. She is heavily involved with the lash industry to work with lash artists to spread education and awareness about beauty trends and their impact on ocular health. She founded Eyethos Beauty in 2020 and hopes to use it as a tool for education.
Dr. Luk has had the privilege of speaking at conferences including the Canadian Dry Eye Summit , Lash Con, BC Doctors of Optometry Annual conference and the Lash Conference. She also serves as a Key Opinion Leader for multiple eye care industry, contact lens and pharmaceutical companies.
She is currently a board member of the BC Doctors of Optometry, where she chairs the Membership Committee. Her contributions have been recognized with awards such as the BC Doctors of Optometry Young Optometrist of the Year in 2023 and the Eyes on Eyecare Optometry Innovation Award in 2022.Dr. Luk is active on social media and can be found on Instagram at ILUKATEYES.

Christine is a Canadian-born, New Zealand-based international award winning beauty founder . Chris works with locally sourced ingredients and formulators to create beauty and wellness products for a variety of markets.
